Standard Blueprint was established in the early 1900’s. We began in a small storefront located in downtown Omaha, Nebraska providing blueprinting services to the Omaha and surrounding communities.

Standard Blueprint was responsible for introducing to the marketplace the revolutionary Diazo process, more commonly known as “blueprinting.”

Standard Blueprint worked with many of today’s Fortune 500 Companies when they were just beginning to develop. Today’s staff experiences a sense of accomplishment and history every time a “Linen Cloth” original from the early years is brought in for reproduction. Down in the corner of that original in bold black letters is the name Standard Blueprint.

The history and commitment to providing unequaled technology and customer service is the driving force that elevates Standard Digital Imaging to the forefront of today’s reprographic industry.

The mid nineties was a time of transformation at StandardBLUE. The days of the ammonia based diazo machines were drawing few.

The emerging advancements in digital reproduction were identified early on by the management staff of StandardBLUE. As the decade ended, the diazo production model had run its course and in its place StandardBLUE offered to its clients a complete digital solution.

Replacing the Vellum, Trans Bond and Mylar originals supplied for mass production were electronic files on floppy disks, Zip drives, BBS systems and Jazz tapes. This is the time StandardBLUE became known as Standard Digital Imaging.

Today files come in from all over the world in many formats and methods. Standard Digital Imaging continues to remain educated on developing technologies to enable constant improvements in service to its clients.
